Bruno Rodriguez-Haney est né en 1960, dans l’est de la France, d’un père afro-américain et d’une mère d’origine portugaise.
Après des études de comptabilité et de photographie, il travaille dans l’administration il devient comptable dans des établissements du ministère de la culture française avant d'écrire son premier roman : Les murs gris de Fontenay-aux-roses (2007), de réaliser son premier long- métrage vidéo: Ylan (2007) et de publier son second roman :Ylan (2008)
Mais Bruno Rodriguez-Haney est également peintre, auteur et compositeur. Il a composé plus d’une cinquantaine de musiques pour Ylan, son premier long métrage dont plusieurs chansons que le public peut écouter sur des sites Internet.
Bruno Rodriguez-Haney was born in 1960, in the east of France, of an Afro-American father and a mother of Portuguese origin.
